Carbon Laser Peel in London

A carbon laser peel is a laser facial in which a thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to the skin, left to settle into the pores, and then removed with a Q switched laser. The laser energy is drawn to the carbon particles, and as they are lifted it takes oil, dead cells and debris with them, exfoliating the surface and warming the deeper layers. It is often called the Hollywood facial because of the immediate brightness it gives.

Whether it is the right choice for your skin is decided at a consultation. Where the concern is stubborn facial pigmentation, a Cosmelan depigmenting treatment may suit you better, and where it is texture and acne marks over a course, a chemical peel may be the more appropriate route.

It suits skin that looks dull, congested or uneven: oily and acne prone skin, visible blackheads and enlarged pores, rough texture, post acne marks and superficial pigmentation such as light sun spots. Because it is gentle compared with a medium or deep peel, it is usually well tolerated across a wide range of skin types.
